Mixtures of coloured peppercorns should not contain more than 15% red (pink) peppercorns. It can also be used to grind dried coriander. The grinder is not intended for grinding salt.

Salt grinder: the grinding mechanism for salt is designed to grind coarse dry salt - both sea and rock salt. Ideally with crystals of 4 mm or less in diameter. This grinder is not designed to grind pepper.
