Made of transparent polycarbonate, the KitchenAid protective shield allows you to add ingredients safely during mixing without having to stop mixing. Compared to the older model, it has an improved design, including a durable snap-on lid with Easy Snap latches, anti-splash cover and a large angled filling spout that allows you to add ingredients as you need them while the robot is working.

Use the pouring guard to reduce mess on your kitchen counter and ensure ingredients stay where you want them during mixing.
The pouring shield can be washed in the top basket of the dishwasher or in warm, soapy water.
